Soap Orchard soy candles are made with 100% natural soy wax., essential oils and fragrance oils with no artificial colors and in a recyclable mason jar. Best of all they are Paraffin, Petroleum, and Phthalate FREE!
Our soy wax is made from soybeans, a natural, renewable source grown in many regions by local farmers. Using candles made from soy supports local agriculture and farmers allowing them to prosper. Unlike paraffin candles which are made from petroleum, a nonrenewable source that contains carcinogenic substances. These substances may be released into the air, walls, and surfaces of your home while burning.
Soy wax burns cleaner with little soot released as the candle burns. Soy wax is non-toxic so toxins are not released into the air. A soy candle works well for holding onto the scent from essential oils because it burns more slowly, the scent is gradually released; there won't be an immediate wave of strong scent. This creates a more pleasant atmosphere and longer essential oil aromatherapy benefit.
Soy wax is also biodegradable, making it an investment that benefits the environment!

Soy wax is a very soft wax and will start to melt if exposed to hot temperatures for long periods of time. Please be aware that your candles can be affected by severe exposure to hot temperatures of 80 degrees or higher for long periods of time. Unfortunately, mail trucks are not air conditioned. Cross country deliveries or any deliveries that require more than two days in transit are a bit riskier, so please keep this in mind when purchasing candles in the summer months. Even though orders under $50 are insured, USPS and UPS will not reimburse for melted candles so we cannot be held liable for melted candles. Please order at your own risk or choose expedited delivery services.
Keep in mind that if melted wax has not spilled out of the container it can be put in a cold environment to re-harden.
