How It's Made
A Sulfate and Paraben free formula fortified with Argan Oil, Apple Extract and a high percentage of gentle cleansing ingredients.
Formulating a shampoo without the use of alcohols, Lauryl or Laurel Sulfates is not an easy task. Thankfully, technology in the personal care industry is ever-evolving and striving to produce innovative sulfate alternatives, including the ones in this clarifying formula. The end result is a shampoo that clarifies without over stripping, and also contains beneficial ingredients that add shine, moisture and antioxidants without weighing down hair.
This particular formula is great for use on normal to oily hair, or if you've noticed that your favorite styling products just aren't working like they used to. For dry over processed hair, occasional use is recommended to reduce the buildup of old styling product.

Note: To appreciate this innovative shampoo, one must understand the limitations of "sulfate free" formulas. In shampoos (and all gels and washes), sulfates are the glue that holds the formula together. They are the cleansing agent, the lathering agent, the surfactant and basically the main ingredient that allows all of the conditioning agents in the formula to remain viscous and stable.
The decision to switch to a truly sulfate-free formula must be made with a clear understanding that there may be a slight sacrifice in product performance. Inherently, a sulfate-free shampoo will not be as conditioning (use a conditioner to follow) , will not have as high of a lather content and cannot withstand a high fragrance load without losing viscosity. That said, many customers feel that the benefits of going sulfate free far outweigh the drawbacks.
